Theresa DePietropaolo OBITUARY
1948 - 2022
On Thursday, August 11, 2022, Theresa (Terry) DePietropaolo of Malvern, PA, passed away at the age of 73. Born in West Chester, PA, on August 23, 1948, Terry spent the past 30 years as a resident of Malvern, building her business as the owner and property manager of rentals in Coatsville and Malvern. Her compassion and generosity opened doors for many underserved members of the community. Terry enjoyed gardening, and in the summer, you could hear neighbors passing by her house commenting on her spectacular display of flowers and plants. Her passion for flowers and plants was surpassed only by her deep love of animals. Terry was a loving mother to her two children, Michael and Rebecca, and the best Aunt her niece, Stephanie Sliwa, and her nephew, Eric Johnson, could ask for. She was the daughter of the late Richard F. Johnson Jr. and the late Aleathia Thompson. She was the twin sibling to the late Stephen Johnson and had remained very close to her sister-in-law, Martha Johnson, following her brother’s passing. Her family and friends will greatly miss her creativity, sense of humor, and her ability to brighten the lives around her with the “little things.” No services will be held at Terry’s request. If you wish to honor Terry’s life, please donate to your local animal shelter in her name.
